A softer story.
A slower goodnight.
The day has had its bright bits. Now there is room for a quieter kind of adventure: a snowy cottage, a visitor at the window, and everyone finding their way to bed.

Snow fell on the cottage. "Pajamas on!" said Pip. Wren wriggled in. Snug, snug, snug.
Tap, tap! Ollie the owl peeked in. "Pajamas on too!" he hooted. Hoo, hoo!
But Fen the fox had no story. "Come in," said Wren. One more story for everyone. "Again!"
Can you point to Fen?
A sip of water. A big cuddle. "Step by step," whispered Pip, "we sleepy-step."
Lights down. Goodnight, Ollie. Goodnight, Fen. Goodnight, Biscuit. Goodnight, Pip and Wren. Shhh.
